” As an OAP from outside of Abergavenny who visits once a week – it was really nice to see the town so full of colour and everyone enjoying themselves in the sunshine! All ages and abilities were catered for and my grandson loved the singing, dancing and play areas. Will be back next year for sure “

” My three kids and I had the best time at Aber Pride 2023. The parade was joyous. Out of the Closet was such a touching concept, you could see how moved people were by it. The logistics seemed to work so well, everything flowed. We had intended just to stop by for a little while but spent the entire day there where the kids danced all afternoon. A truly special day. A safe space where people were able celebrate their individuality. 🏳️🌈 “

” Abergavenny Pride with a 1 year old was the best day! What a fab atmosphere for him – from the parade (waving his flag enthusiastically throughout from his position in the backpack), to the kids corner (with some fab toys to rival any playgroup), to the dancing and singing which he loved trying to be part of. As a cis hetro, LGBTQ+ supporter, I couldn’t have felt more included in the celebratory atmosphere. We had a great day, and can’t wait to bring him again next year. “
